System architecture

FreeScan Omni is a wireless, standalone metrology 3D scanner built for inspection at the machine, on the shop floor, or in the field. Scanning, meshing, dimensional inspection, and reporting can run directly on the scanner, so routine checks do not require a tethered workstation.

The standard package includes the full Omni scan-to-inspect configuration: 0.02 mm certified accuracy, 93-line high-speed capture, 25-line detail scanning, single-line deep-pocket scanning, marker-free IR capture, video photogrammetry, AI feature recognition, on-device inspection, and the desktop versions of FreeScan Omni and SHINING3D Inspect.

Use the included Smart Dock, eight rechargeable batteries, calibration hardware, validated scale bar, and connection accessories for continuous wireless or wired work. Optional training, reverse-engineering software, replacement markers, and extended protection can be added to the configured quote.

A workstation is optional for scanning and on-device inspection. These requirements apply when using the included FreeScan Omni desktop software and SHINING3D Inspect on a PC. A discrete NVIDIA GPU is required.
