EINSTAR 2 is a true-wireless, PC-connected handheld 3D scanner that combines 17 parallel blue laser lines with infrared VCSEL capture. It moves from fine mechanical details and reflective parts to vehicles, people, artwork, and outdoor subjects in one compact system.
Laser HD mode resolves detail down to 0.05 mm and captures up to 2,500,000 points per second. IR Rapid reaches up to 4,800,000 points per second for efficient medium-to-large-object and portrait scanning. The integrated 2.3 MP color camera records realistic texture for full-color models.
Built-in Wi-Fi removes the need for a separate wireless hub, while USB Type-C remains available when interference makes a cable preferable. The swappable 5500 mAh battery supports up to three hours of scanning, and the scanner weighs 420 g with the battery installed.
Included EXStar Hub software supports alignment, data-quality review, scan rewind, plane detection, hole filling, measurement, simplification, texture adjustment, and export to STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, and ASC.
